Pet Insurance Australia is proud to announce that they are the recent finalists for the Finder Insurance Innovative awards.

“Pet Insurance Australia (PIA)  is proud to announce they are one of four finalists for the Finder’s Innovation Awards for 2021,” Crighton says. “This is a huge achievement and accolade to the hard work and dedication PIA gives to their clients.”

In its sixth year, the Finder’s Innovation Awards celebrates the success of Australia’s most forward-thinking businesses. The Finder Innovation Awards acknowledge excellence and recognise creativity and impact across a range of industries, from insurance to banking and property to technology, retail and travel.

“Pet Insurance Australia is constantly looking at innovative ways to ensure our clients have ease when making claims or insurance-related queries,” Crighton says. “Allowing customers to concentrate on the health and wellbeing of their pet, and streamline the ease of claims is a top priority.”

There are 27 categories open for entry which are judged on criteria including innovation, range of features, and impact.

The Finder Awards program recognises the best-rated brands and products to help Australians make informed decisions. When consumers choose a product that has won a Finder Award they know that Finder experts think it’s the best in the market at a given time.

PIA has partnered with GapOnly introducing this latest innovation in claiming to our clients with great success,” Crighton says. “It’s innovative ideas like this that are allowing our clients to claim with ease.”

GapOnlyTM allows customers access their pet insurance benefit right away on eligible claims at participating Vets. Customers simply pay the gap – the difference between the vet’s invoice and the claim benefit under their policy. It’s simple, easy, and allows customers to claim on the spot at their participating veterinary clinic.

“There are many other aspects to policies that we have tweaked over the past year to ensure our clients get the very best out of their policies,” Crighton says. “This hard work has certainly paid off and to be recognised as a finalist for these awards is a testament to this.”

A judging panel of 46 industry professionals will review and score the submissions based on the entry criteria for each category. The winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony in late August 2021.

Best Insurance Innovation category four finalists include:  Pet Insurance Australia, Fast Cover Travel Insurance,  Noble Oak  Life, and Stella Insurance.
